Mal- investment is a phenomena which appears when economics are ignored in favor of only opportunity.

In the continuing story about Chinas Realestate complex, this video focuses on Sky scrapers. In a race to the top China has wasted resources at rates unseen by any period in history.

Who looking at the designs and city scapes, its a quite impressive set of achievements.

Unfortunately when paired with economic reality it all reduces to Boondoggle.

Those who enabled all of these contradictions, should retreat from power and replace themselves with those who have engineered and built all of these structures.

Any tribute to Chinas holistic picture, China needs less hubris and more focus, as the population rapidly drops the most important question may be; How to move tall buildings as a function of converting mal- investment into something resembling rational economic behavior.
