  Bike-Maker Cannondale to Produce Motorcycles
  BETHEL, Conn., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Bicycle-maker Cannondale has announced that it will manufacture and sell Cannondale branded off-road motorcycles. The Company will unveil its first model in the Spring of this year. 
  Cannondale Founder and President Joe Montgomery declined to provide additional details on the project. ''We'll be bringing considerable innovation to at least three different areas of motorcycle design,'' said Montgomery. ''We'd love to discuss the new motorcycle in detail, but all we can really say at this point is that we're incredibly excited, and we can't wait until the unveiling this Spring.'' 
  Connecticut-based Cannondale already enjoys a strong reputation for innovation. The Company's bicycles have won numerous design awards, including the ''Technological Development of the Year Award'' from VeloNews magazine, a ''Best New Products of the Year Award'' from Business Week, a ''Design Recognition Award'' from ID magazine, and a  ''Design and Engineering Award'' from Popular Mechanics.
