Our Story — The Entpre?ers Network

Our Story

Entrepreneurial Spirits from around the world!Weilyn and Ali met in Middle School in Hong Kong in 2014. Into High School, they became friends as they connected over their natural entrepreneurial spirits. As the Class of 2020 during Covid, in January of their Senior year, Weilyn and Ali both went online for the rest of the year without closure to their High School Careers. Fast forward to Fall 2020, Weilyn flew to the US to attend Princeton University while Ali flew to Shanghai to attend NYU Shanghai. After a few months at school, in March of 2021 Weilyn and Ali reconnected virtually through their shared frustration towards the lack of support and connection of female entrepreneurship both on their college campuses and globally. They were told that the world first had to develop entrepreneurship before we could focus on female entrepreneurship - they disagreed. In response, they created The Entrepre?ers Network and started hosting The Entrepre?ers Podcast, all ventures for and by female entrepreneurs led by the next generation.

Ali and Weilyn strive to create an inclusive empowered community of curious female college entrepreneurs built on the foundations of gratitude and education. Only 3% of VC funding goes to female founders - that must change!

Our core values.Diversity, Community, Curiosity, Gratitude, Education, Entrepreneurship
