Sorry but you are misinformed related the various spices of communism and socialism. What you refer to as "communism" is socialism based on the Lenin doctrine. In Western countries the name of "communist countries" was mislabeled, as they were just another form of totalism/dictatorship of the few. To date there was not one true communist country based on Karl Marks and his partners ideology. The only place I know and where actual communism failed socially with the second generation was in certain Kibutzim in Israel. There where several flavors of communist Kibutzim but it worked for those that established them out of ideology. In general the old guard type of communism was abandoned and the Kibutzim rearranged their goal to maximize profits for their own members In general I am not sure but I think that in today Israel there are no more true communist Kibutzim As to socialist doctrine it also comes in various flavors and is not one definition as is capitalism which also does not exist in its ultimate form.
