We obviously need to see how their internal supply progresses over time to get a real handle on the current technical barriers to growing SiC boules.

A Chinese company claimed recently to have 200mm conductive SiC substrates. But they admit the boule is only 25mm thick which isn't going to be near enough. Many will claim they have the goods. It is going to take a while to figure out who really does. Even Wolfspeed's last analyst day presentation was fishy because when it came to talking about defect rates it was worded as if the best substrate we could find had these statistics.
