I've just about decided to restore my 1979 280ZX. The '79 was the first year of the ZX model. It's 100 percent original and prices are slowly increasing. I think I can recover half of the restoration cost in a couple of years. Besides, this is the car that saved my life but that's a long story. I looked at COHU's financials and they are nice and clean. I saw no gimmicks. Finally, they got past the auto boom of the first half of 2021 and now should have more comparable quarters. If it goes down, I'll buy more for 2024. Well, my boy poodle has one of his toy bunnies and is challenging me to "go for it." So, I better go for it.
