assistant Sun Tzu, For me it was my first years in college. So, I am a little older than you. I will say learning to program and how computers worked back then, was the best of basics. At the time, the main programs for programing was Fortran (called the idiots language at the time) and Assembly One and Two. Back then you had to first key punch in the program and the data cards, then program the computer with the Hollerith cards and then feed the data in using the Hollerith cards. eecis.udel.edu All manner of equipment to organize the cards.
