I bought the ZX new in January 1980. It was ordered by the goalie for the Washington Capitals NHL team but he was sent down to the minors. Since then, it has been garaged all of its life. There are minor rust areas on the rocker panels. No accidents, no body damage. 5-speed stick. It has the original interior that needs to be replaced. The guy I am going with overhauls the engines and does all mechanicals. He just started doing the body restoration. I only want a driver. Autotrader has an exact copy on it but it is an automatic. "HS130158208 on autotrader. ZXs will be the last Z cars to move. Early 240 Zs can run in the $40s to much higher. My 280ZX will not come close to the restoration costs--today. However, I will be able to drive it on weekends and make my C7 jealous.
