Going out of business in next couple years? Am I missing something? HUM's EXCEED should sell extremely well overseas for years to come and they're making inroads to lots of developing countries. Saying that they'll be out of business because of technology has been disproven time and again.(eg.Unix,Convergence,500+channel TV etc.), fact is nobody knows what is going to happen. Also, with institutions and mgmt owning over 85% of the outstanding shares, many smart people are betting this is a good business for many more years. Revs have been growing 95% a yr since 1992-96, and 45% the last 2 yrs. Over $100 mil in cash, no debt. New renewals with major clients incl. Ford, Boeing, TI etc. Expansion in Far East, Europe. World-Wide marketing agreements with DEC,Compaq,Siemens Nixdorf Also their new shelf of products: Maestro, Common Ground, TN3270 & TN5250. This makes a compelling argument that they'll be around alot longer, I'am just waiting to hear news about an acquisition so I can possibly sell a less attractive stock and buy more.
Doing an analysis on this stock I see a estimated price range of between $41.40-$102.60 given all scenarios known at this time and continuing on a ultra-conservative growth rate of 20%(ave.45% last 2 yrs). I see $7.80 of upside for every $1. of risk.
