Ten,

Attaching the causation of what is happening in the economy to who is in the white house if fundamentally wrong.

No economic expansion ever died of old age. The FED murdered every one of them.

Trump put Powell in, Biden kept him in. The FED runs what happens in the economy and no one else.

The economy is entirely debt based. You raise the cost of debt you kill the economy, period. Stagflation is just a buzz word the right uses to put fear into people of the Carter years, when the the US didn't have enough oil production. Totally different circumstances between then and now.

In the worst pandemic since the Spanish flu, the demand for oil was crushed, it went negative $40 a barrel.
What did Trump do? Nothing, didn't add one barrel to the SOR. Not one. No one did or said a thing, its like they all wanted to crush production. The little guys get crushed and the huge corps come in and take all the assets for pennies on the dollar. It's nothing new. It's a cycle the moves from industry to industry.

Didn't attempt to stabilize the price of oil, so production was crushed. It is just now getting back to where it was in April 2021 before demand was crushed.

What did you think was going to happen to the price of oil when supply was crushed and demand returned?

It's going to go ballistic like it did, cause and effect, the law of supply and demand in action.
