A federal judge ruled that Trump's travel ban was invalid due to the "Establishment Clause". I'm no lawyer, so I looked up the Establishment Clause. I laughed when I read it.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

1. It addresses Congress, the wrong branch of the government

2. It addresses laws, whereas this case did not involve a law at all. It involved an Executive Order, which is merely the President's instructions to his employees

3. The Establishment Clause is part of the Bill of Rights, which lists rights the US government cannot take away from its citizens. This travel ban does not apply to US citizens.

So, a non-lawyer just came up with 3 cavernous holes in the court's argument, and yet this judge from one of the highest courts of the land is not under the slightest threat of impeachment.
