Re: Dollar Cost Averaging. ...

In the Young Folk Portfolio I will add in $200 - $400 increments or as close to that as possible. For example, a full position is $4,000 and LLY is sitting at $3,476. Tomorrow I will buy 2 shares of LLY and that will push it up over a full position.

CTAS is currently at $3,490 in value, I will add 2 shares tomorrow and take that up to a full position.

I will add about $200 more to TU taking that up to $3,200. It's going to take longer for that one to become a full position.

Once I have everything up to a full position, I will then decide who I will overweight and continue to add to.

TSLA for example is at 2x a full position ... $8,008 in value.

LMT is more than 3x a full position at $13,608 in value. I'll continue to let it grow as opposed to trimming it.

I will eventually have to raise the value of a full position to $6,000 or $8,000 and when I do, I'll work on bringing each position up in value as well.

Companies I don't wish to own as full positions will be sold, my belief is that if it isn't worth building and potentially overweighting, it isn't worth owning.
