I am halfway through the book "The Blocksize War" by Jonathan Bier. I can't remember who recommended it on S.I, but I am glad I bought the book.
It's about the development history of BTC after Satoshi went awol.
Fascinating stuff, and I am watching all the utube videos cited, sometimes it takes extra searching to find them as the direct links often state they don' t exist. They do.
Fact is these BTC nerds are saying they will effectively be the new monetary Fed, and all the other cryptos are fakes.
So maybe the rich and powerful, and maybe the financial authorities of all interested parties, USA, China, etc might wish to have a say in that. Even those European banking types may wish to put an oar in, and history does indicate they are able to do that ! -lol-
So I am happy to hang on to some Asian centric crypto, just to cover bets. Will buy more on weakness probably (the "macro" is looking real bad imho) My bets are are basically cash and Silver and hardly much else.
I like Matthew, he is thorough, and I do listen to everything he says, even going to build up some BTC, but a view that only BTC geeks count, and ROW (including banksters) don't count is implausible to me. Judas liked Silver too, so I won't argue with his analysis.
Matthew can be happy with the fact I don't have much ERC20 and no Ethereum.
No matter what anyone says, we are getting nearer to crunch time.
