Russia and the US both outnumbered Afghanistanis but both countries gave up.
It took eleven years for the Soviet Union to get the F out of A*ghanistan.

After we put the F back into Afghanistan, it took us almost 20 years to get the F back out of A*ghanistan.

Going back to the Soviet Union, it took how long before it collapsed? That's right, many decades.

And even then, it wasn't a foregone conclusion like the left now claims it was. It took the efforts of Ronald Reagan to speed up the Soviet Union's collapse.

We don't have a Reagan in the Oval Office right now. We have a Jimmy Carter.

And don't get me started on the GQP ...
