Jeff, re: payment method. I'm guessing some type of promissory instrument, probably convertible to stock (if any exists or will exist); not cash or stock directly. BTW, have you been able to dig up any info on the VT2000 company? I've been searching all over the net, and it's pretty weird that I can't find anything. As a reasonably skilled net surfer, I don't think I've ever had an occasion where I found nothing regarding the topic of my query.
Also, as a small business owner yourself, I was curious what you might estimate the payroll for a 15 employee company would be—with 6 of the 15 being at the VP level and above, and the rest probably programmers with maybe a receptionist thrown in. I'm guessing, at very modest levels, probably about $1 mil annually. Does that jibe with you? Beyond that, as a non-retail software company, there can't be too many other expenses—some rent, utils...
