I was curious what you might estimate the payroll for a 15 employee company would be with 6 of the 15 being at the VP level and above, and the rest probably programmers with maybe a receptionist thrown in. I'm guessing, at very modest levels, probably about $1 mil annually. Does that jibe with you?

My guess is that the payroll is rather low and the employees are given generous stock options. Otherwise, yes, the payroll would have to be quite high. If you assume VPs should get paid more than (lowly (gg)) programmers, and the going rate for a good programmer is $100-$150K, then payroll would normally be $1.5M minimum.

But, why speculate when the CEO can give us the facts?
