That's a feature of neoliberalism not a bug... Would you rather have a car from the 70's or today? A Sony TV from the 90's would last 20 odd years TV's from today maybe 5? it seems to be even more pathetic than that. last year i bought a new flip phone. it's the worst flip phone i've had over the past 20+ years. "technology" and "progress" has "left behind" quality.
