Being in a defensive position does not exempt the Ukrainian military from respecting international humanitarian law.
Like I said, Amnesty International is full of shit. They have never fought a full-scale war. They are buying into the notion that this is a "special military operation" and that the usual rules of engagement apply.

And no offense, but you're full of shit too, given how you excuse RuZZia's deliberate targeting of civilians while criticizing Ukraine for defending their own cities.
