| | | Hi Tweets,
You are what you were when.
As a young man I craved going south.
I got my dream in 1981.
I worked the car lots and auctions of Texas till 2016.
Before that GM moved me to Texas to fix their untrained dealer problems. I fell in love with the spirit of Texas and their people. They are so proud of their state - I fell into the love affair as well.
I'm an Irish descendent that gets a tan, but beyond that I peel. Seven of my eight grandparents were from Ireland during the potato famine. No one gave us squat, but hard work has its rewards.
I now have a left eye with a Pterygium - the result of too much UV. Selling cars on that sunny Texas car lot.
My home is Wisconsin and my childhood friends and memories bring me back here.
Texas was a great place to work and save. It was even better to invest and prosper in its great growth of the last decades.
I have a fondness for the midwest friendliness and humor. Like Texans they are proud honest and say what they mean and do what they say. I have comfort from those kinds of folks vs. the political BS r's who say nice things and then do the opposite. I love straight shooters and despise those who make bad sound good, and are not trustworthy.
I am, in the end a country boy. Not fancy, not a lier, and you can rely on my word. It is simply how I was raised, nothing more.
I love fossil fuel hotrods (Tri-Five Chevies) and no one is going to legislate my preference.
We are in America, land of the free - SO FAR!
