David, IMHO the only thing stopping a potential takeover right now is uncertainty over whether AMD will manage to get yields on the 0.25u process up in Fab 25. Why buy AMD for $25 when you could have it for $15, which is a possibility if the yields don't get better? (even though I think they will) Another negative is that no computer manufacturer wants Intel mad at them. Petz
