Sorry, you're faulting Brandon for not doing more but refusing what you want him to do more.

I read your statements on Ukraine as calls for us to get involved in the fighting. We shouldn't do it.

However, there is no way Zelensky can kick RuZZians out of Crimea without America's help. No way at all.

Let's let Zelensky determine that. I don't know that that's true at all and neither do you. I think your assessment of Russia's might is too high. They're a nuclear power, but not a superpower in any other way. Kiev may well win their war conventionally. At any rate, your aggressive stance risks us getting into a nuclear conflict.

What do you think America ought to do? Assist Zelensky in his ambitions to free all of Ukraine?(1) Or join with the rest of the world and try to convince Zelensky to settle for the pre-February borders? (2)

Absolutely neither of those. Let the fighting determine the fate of the war. Your first choice gets us involved in waging war with a nuclear power. We don't have to do that. Your second choice puts us in the drivers seat in another way by making Zelensky accept less than what his country wants.

If you believe like I do that Zelensky should not stop until ALL of Ukraine is freed from RuZZian control, then that will take a commitment on our part that, quite frankly, I don't think Brandon is willing to make.

And Brandon SHOULDN'T make that commitment, nor should any American President. Its their war to wage, not ours.

Consider the Israeli wars, we supported Israel but didn't try to settle the conflict. Consider the Korean war, there we tried to settle the conflict despite there being a nuclear power on the other side. We shouldn't make that mistake again.

Next, Taiwan. We should provide Taiwan with weapons to defend themselves but we shouldn't make a commitment that would put us in the position of redrawing China's borders.
