It is a serious puzzle for me that such a high proportion of people like to fight other people for no good reason.

I understand the need to fight to the death if Malthusian distress overtakes people, just as the red in tooth and claw natural world lives by such constant carnage as the natural world's breeding pressure and resource limitations force no other option.

Maybe the human desire to fight is just a habit developed over a million years of chimpoid Malthusian pressure which meant tribes of men had to fight to the death [preferably the opposition's] for resources and females.

One would think that when said humans consider their interdependent suppliers and customers, they'd figure out that fighting isn't a sensible option now. But apparently they are too stupid to figure it out.

Another option for why the war, is that some people in USA make big heaps of kickback loot by getting other people to fight. So Obama got Joe Biden to get Victoria Nuland, Hunter etc, to set up bribery and corruption in Ukraine to supply Ukraine with megatons of military gear and training and preparation for war so that the Ukrainian bosses, Hunter, DementiaJoe10%, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Nancy Pelosi, Lindsay Graham, John McCain etc etc could get their paws on USA citizens' money, with the fig-leaf of Big Bad Russia if anybody such as Rand Paul, Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard and others whine like a fleet of Koreans [whining about Qualcomm royalties] about citizen-money being sent into the kleptocratic kickback bribery and corruption war machine.

Obama is certainly enjoying a very very wealthy lifestyle which does not come from the presidential salary. Joe Biden too. Nancy is a wealthy witch. Clinton Foundation was loaded up with loot. Epstein got his cut in exchange for sexual services at his paradise island [nobody being prosecuted because he and Ghislaine were disappeared to protect the guilty]. Hunter had prostitutes, cocaine, cash galore.

It's amazing that American soldiers and other people will fight, die and be maimed so that Hunter [and those evil greedsters] can enjoy his nihilistic hedonistic self-aggrandisement.

In fairness to the dinkum soldiers and some politicians, and citizens who pay the bills with good intentions, there really are bad people who have to be stopped. For example, Emperor Pooh Xi is going chimpoid by threatening doom to people in Taiwan unless they bow to Peking and pay tribute in the amount that said Emperor desires.

Emperor Pooh Xi can reasonably protect the realm as established decades ago but he's going megalomaniac.

Taiwan does not belong to him. Neither is there much reason why it should when the local yokels are opposed to that idea.

It would be better if China continued to develop trade and interpersonal relations and make things so good for Taiwanese that they wouldn't want to become Hunter Biden's property = a very easy task I'd say.

Once upon a time, New Zealand was part of New South Wales. NZ went independent. But Kiwis wanted to remain very attached to Australia so they did. But NZ started being a back door for the third world to get a NZ passport then step right into Australia, so Oz slammed the door. Ooops, NZ had made a big mistake. I suppose that's an argument for having kept NZ as part of Oz, but it's hard to think a century ahead.

Both NZ and Oz were once part of UK. Lucky we went independent or the third worlders now invading Eurostan and UK would be able to stay in UK long enough to get their passports then head to NZ to take over there too.

Unfortunately, things are getting so third worldy in Eurostan including Jolly Olde Englande that Malthusian feelings are becoming common - especially as winter arrives and heating costs head for $10,000 per year. Made in China jackets, gloves, hats, furry boots will be popular - $10,000 is real money for a lot of people in England.

all Europe has done is replace one energy master (as Trump warned in 2018) with another, even though both are joined at the hip and laughing at the stupidity of Brussels which, under the sage advice of a petulant Scandinavian teenager, made all of this possible just in time for China - which together with Putin now determines Europe's daily energy intake - to invade Taiwan without a peep from Europe's virtuous signalers.

Trump was wrong - Russia was not an energy master for Eurostan. It was a supplier. I have been a supplier to many companies and none of them thought of me, or the companies I worked for, as masters. Suppliers and customers are not masters and servants/slaves, they are mutually beneficial. Russia would far rather sell to Euroserfs than China if there's more money to be made. They would not stop supplying unless more money could be made elsewhere [or the Eurostans start attacking Russia as in Ukraine/Crimea/Luhansk/Donetsk].

Immediate ceasefire and agreement to my proposals [made BEFORE the war] is the best idea. Now there is the added problem of Mariupol area which Russia won't give up to enable easy cut-off of Crimea. So Ukraine has lost much more than if they'd just been civilized to start with. But Zelensky was doubtless in the kickback bribery and corruption looting so he went along with his bosses in Washington.
