Re: German investor, German stocks.

I, like many here, like to read articles of successful investors to try to understand their methods - how they find and consider investments, and what they might be investing in now and why. I'm especially interested in these people if they've been successfully at it decades or more. Every once in a while I get surprised by learning about someone I've never heard of before. Karl Ehlerdring here is one.

"Karl Ehlerding is unique among investors – in Germany, and probably worldwide."

I found this interview with him to be absolutely fascinating:

undervalued-shares.com

He describes the traits of what he believes are necessary to be a successful investor. Or at least for him.

He gives his rationale for why he's been buying POAHY, and he lists too some other German-domiciled and listed stocks.

I believe you will appreciate reading about this guy, Spekulatius!
