Twister:

My cyber friend, you state:
> this battle of good (sunw) vs. msft (evil)...One will win, the other will lose.

In all seriousness, you really never answered my question: Why "You" always speak of SUNW as if it is a human being who has done an awful thing to you and now you are out there to get your revenge?!

I am a SUNW as well as a MSFT shareholder, and to me they both are simply instruments to grow my wealth. I may invest in one more than the other based on my perception and understanding that one can increase my wealth much faster and more than the other (at this time in my view it is SUNW ), but I really dont care or think of either company as a love/hate affair. Heck tomorrow if I see SUNW has changed something that I do not like I sell right away (and the same for MSFT or any other stock).

But it is truly amazing that people on boards such as SI threads talk about their stocks as if they are in love or in hate with the company and take it very personal. I can not possibly understand this. After all we all are here to make money, right? So twister, my good cyber friend, why do you always love to provoke antagonistic reactions from the participants on this thread (or perhaps other threads)?!

Again in all seriousness what is it that you have against Sun Microsystems?! I assume you are a retail investor like most (if not all) who participate on SI threads. Just think (and I do realize you claim you are not a SUNW share holder even though I disagree!), but assuming that you have never been a SUNW share holder, just think if you had a more open mind with regard to Sun and had invested a little bit of your portfolio into the stock in September of 1996 you could have had something between 70-85% return (and in between at times if you are a trader 100-200% returns). And yes I do realize that you claim you instead have invested all your money in MSFT which have had a bit more return. But knowing you from your comments which indicate you are not "that dumb" with technology I can not possibly accept that you totally have ignored Sun Microsystems as a technology leader!

Anyway, I was just curious and (in fact have been amazed for quite sometime now) to know what is it that makes you so hostile toward SUNW (both the company and the stock)? And what is it that makes you think of Sun as a human being that has done an awful thing to you! (that is of course if my theory regarding you in fact being a SUNW share holder is incorrect!)

Addi Jamshidi
