I wish I was as disciplined. I tried stops but they kept running them. If I loosen them, I may as well not have them because I take a bath anyway. I gave back half my morning gains while I was messing around with something else. Switched to the dark side and made half that back. Maybe I should just play SPY instead of SPXL/SPXS but SPY ties up so much cash. A "normal" pullback during a trend run is over half a point usually in SPXL/SPXS.
So now, retest/double bottom or set up for the returning pros to tank it Tuesday?
3950 where we're sitting as I type this was a multi excuse support that everyone was eyeballing but didn't even slow the decline yesterday. Now we're testing it again. It's a volume support, fib support, horizontal support and trendline support.
Normally I would look for a run into the close but I think they just shattered everyone's nerves with the hour long swoon. Then again, maybe that's the plan.
Max Pain was right on 4000 but as AJ would say, they probably took care of that this morning. There's a ton of puts at 3900 and below so I don't think they can pull the rug out until next week.
I'm rambling as I think out loud and try to get a plan for when I go back.
