Britbox - The Brits do a great job with police stories based on true life stories. We have seen several with top-notch casts. They really make an effort to explore the humanity of everyone involved in a tragedy (except the Assistant Chief Constables, who are always bureaucratic assholes for some reason - maybe that's true?) "Little Boy Blue" is a superb 4-parter based on a young boy's murder and the gang violence involved. Like most of these, one cop kept going at it for ages until the real truth came out.
