If your interested in methane from coal beds in the Cook Inlet of Alaska perhaps you should be looking at a company called Growth Resources N.L. (listed on the Australian Stock Exchange) Growth Resources holds 9,632 acres under lease and a further 20,000 acres in applications in the area. The 9,634 acres has been assessed to contain 163BCF and 236 BCF of recoverable gas. The company is presently drilling 3 development wells 3 miles NW of the town of Houston . These wells are expected to be completed as gas producers in the near term. Growth is trading for A$0.35 at the close on the 11 February 1998.
