Charliss, you did well to sell most of your holdings. Me, I was foolish enough to hold on. I admit to being fooled by all the hype. Anyway, I agree that money sitting in BCMD is wasting away while other opportunities are passing by. I was very tempted to sell a chunk of my shares today even though any sale for me would be at a loss. And in fact I did sell some, although I probably should have sold more as I feel that the price is now going to slide even more.
Now there is one thing that is beginning to bother me about what Chapin and Co. are doing, the recent gold finds, and the JV deal. They want to take their "show" on the road. Why would they want to do that? Could it be mere coincidence that all this has been and is going on with the new delisting rules coming into effect?
And how exactly do they expect to convince the smart money? What can they be told that hasn't already been made public? If BCMD doesn't have a plan, proven reserves, and production revenues then what other data do they have that can convince the smart money to invest? And if they have all this, why wouldn't they release the information for all to see?
IMHO, I think they will have a tough sell. If they can't convince the lay investors then I don't see how they can convince the smart money to invest. I see the continuing erosion in stock price as proof of this. Or will the MMs take the blame for the price erosion?
I guess I really believed in all the hype and am a sucker for it. Now I just want the truth (and getting my money back would be nice, too :-) The rational investor in me is telling me to get out now, but I also have a relationship with BCMD (okay, I've just overstepped my role as an investor) and would like it to work out.
As I have said before, I'll probably give BCMD another quarter to prove itself. I just wanted to air my concerns for all to consider since I don't think any of their public statements have adequately addressed my concerns.
