We dipped into "Darby and Joan" last night; it's definitely watchable for a light mystery 45 minutes. The acting and chemistry are decent thanks to Brown and Saachi not losing their screen presence all these decades later (they will forever by fixed in my mind from "Breaker Morant" and "White Mischief" of course). Think "Death in the Outback" instead of "Death In Paradise" and you're close. Another one off the radar is "The Broker's Man" with Kevin Whately (Lewis) doing a short stint as an insurance investigator who is endlessly jerked around by his various employers and made to look bad in front of his pissed off ex-wife. The latter got kind of old in the first episode, but maybe they will stick more to the plots in the future. Worth a look.
