It looks like ELNK did a runner on us. Sprint agrees to invest $180 million and give them all their customers in return for a 30% stake and 4.1 million convertible preferred shares. Sprint will also make a tender offer for 1.25 million EarthLink common shares at $45 a share. A lesson here might be to short only companies with no viable products, as opposed to companies that are merely overpriced.
