Just an observation on the overall market.
Short term looks up, but I have reservations about the high evaluation of this market. This is definitely a stock pickers market. I for one am starting to get nervous for the first time in quite awhile.
So many negatives right now:
1. Sustainable earnings in relation to market valuations, I kind of doubt it. 2. Asia impact will still be felt, it hasn't gone away, only swept under the rug for now. 3. Contrary to popular belief, I think Clinton is cooked! 4. Clinton will try to divert attention from current scandal by all out bombings in Iraq. BTW, good Lord, how many scandals is this? What's wrong with the American public? Clinton's approval rating is near 80%? One more scandal & it should top 90%, sheesh! 5. AMAT, warning of lower revenue growth & earnings for the foreseeable future, more will follow with short fall of earnings the next two quarters or so. 6. What goes up will come down, except for LGWX I have raised all cash waiting for buying opportunity. I believe this will be a great opportunity when the market corrects & the money managers panic.
Having said all this, the market may very well hit 8500 soon. I am in the process of making my list of stocks to buy when & if this happens.
This is just one mans opinion, what does the thread say?
I know I probably should have posted this on the Big Kahuna thread.
BTW, is APM still in business?(just kidding)
Well everybody, what do you think?
