Tenchu's Thoughts: Why Should We Give A Brandon About Ukraine, Part 11 - Endgame?
Ukraine Army Penetrates Russian Defenses by Over 30 Miles in Offensive—Kyiv (msn.com)
That's quite a claim by Kyiv, but if it holds true, then RuZZia is indeed on the path toward defeat.
Like I said, this is a bigger fuckin' deal than Kherson. I was wondering why Zelensky was telegraphing that counteroffensive. Now I know why.
Rope-a-dope.
Meanwhile PooTin is claiming that RuZZia lost nothing in this war of choice ...

Look at how he's talking, though.
He's emphasizing RuZZia's "sovereignty."
He's pretending that what doesn't kill RuZZia makes RuZZia stronger.
And of course, he's talking about "finishing" a war that he denies starting.
It seems to me that PooTin is now looking for an exit strategy. It's looking less and less likely that he will fully mobilize all of RuZZia toward a declaration of war.
This was a bit unexpected to me, as I thought PooTin would actually go all the way and escalate the war.
Instead, he's recalibrating the RuZZian reality distortion field in hopes of declaring "Mission Accomplished."
So what, Tenchu? Why should this matter to the West?
It matters because of my belief that NATO doesn't really want Ukraine to achieve TOTAL victory, which includes retaking ALL the land that RuZZia currently occupies, including Crimea and the so-called "breakaway" regions in the east.
Instead, Zelensky will start to feel increasing pressure to end the war and either settle for the pre-February borders, or accept some sort of cease-fire where Ukraine stops short of reclaiming everything.
And that pressure matters because Ukraine is still 100% dependent on NATO assistance. Without it, Ukraine is forced back into a defensive stance.
This is NOT the kind of pressure that Zelensky needs, if he is promising his people that Crimea will be taken back in 2023:

Not only that, but international support for Ukraine's cause will start to waver as PooTin brands Zelensky as the "warmonger" and the RuZZians as the ones desiring "peace."
Bottom line
The leaders of the West need to decide whether to support Zelensky all the way, including the liberation of Crimea.
And they need to make a strong statement of support as well as back it up with actions, or at least recommitting to the current levels of assistance.
China of course will start braying that NATO is now proven to be "warmongers."
The African trolls from Cyber Front Z will spam social media with that message.
Iran, North Korea, and other members of Axis of Evil 2.0 will try and threaten the Western world based on that sentiment.
And of course, the PooTin cucks here in America, including members of the GQP, will try and undermine our continued efforts to support Zelensky.
All of the above is easy to predict, because even though PooTin's military turned out to be weaker than expected, one tool still remains in his arsenal.
And that is propaganda.
And it is much more effective than it should be, all thanks to the world's obsession with social media.
What do YOU believe, Tenchu?
I believe the free world shouldn't give PooTin that opportunity. I believe we should support Zelensky and make sure RuZZia ends up occupying less land than they started with.
And I believe NATO should try and get Ukraine to join.
That would be a victory that not even the PooTin cucks can spin away.
Remember, there can be no peace without victory.
