My hunch is the UAN unit price will trade with the planting season, trough in July/Aug and peak in March/April.

So owning it now, and if you want to sell, sell it in April, is a good idea. At least that's what happened to the unit price last year - my bet is the same trend happens again this season.

But then you may miss the phat distributions which come in May and August.

What ya want - capital gains (sell in March/April), or MLP tax free distributions (don't sell at all)?
