We were actually up in the mts camping when we got the news, so we rushed home and have been working on saving our place ever since. AT this point, we're still home, and I am refreshing the site below quite often. I get text messages with update from the local fire district on my cell phone too. twitter.com We're still at level 2, and we're staying put unless things change drastically. The winds are expected to shift in our favor after midnight, so we'll hopefully hold on till then. We've been preparing since 11:00. Our vehicles are packed, including our little trailer..........which we'll use as an u-haul for this event. We presently have sprinklers wetting down the house and garage, so doing what we can to save the place. I have a good feeling about this and right now it looks like we'll be OK, but I've been known to be wrong a time or two, so send good vibes, prayers, thoughts whatever our way, and maybe we'll survive this fire? P.S. it's called the Bolt Creek Fire
