This is potentially HUGE news!! If they've truly solved that problem then it may lend itself nicely to mass manufacture much in the same manner as IC chips. Hmmmmm....I followed SIDT for a while, then got away from them but always felt they had potential. And when they formed, several months back, relationships with several major Asian electronics firms my ear's perked up. I think I understand now why the Asian firms linked up with them. I think it's time to move SIDT off the back burner, despite the fact that this announcement is basically proto-type stuff. By the turn of the century it may very well start replacing current flat-panel displays like plasma(such an energy pig THAT one is). Well, I can dream, can't I? John~
