Peter.....Slope is controlled by the period measured. The slope of any indicator changes slowly with a longer time period,faster with a shorter period.And the indicator itself has different lengths built in (MA's of 21 bars,89 bars,3 bars,etc.) There is no golden rule about the time period measured . It is up to you to experiment and decide what fits your personal style Jack Landis
