I've been meaning to discuss that with you. Last week I dug a bit deeper into Fib ratios and came up with two families. The first is the .618 family and the other is the 0.236 family. Here are the two sets.

Primary Family Secondary Family
0.1459
0.38197
0.61803
0.7862
0.8867
0.2361
0.4859
0.6970
0.8349

Reciprocals
0.8541
0.61803
0.38197
0.2138
0.1133

Reciprocals
0.7639
0.5141
0.303
0.1751

OK, so what does all this mean. Firstly, the primary family is not just fib ratios, but they are also powers of other ratios. For example, 0.382 is the square of 0.618 and 0.886 is the 4th root of 0.618.

The secondary family does not fit as neatly. A lot of people use 0.5 as a fib ratio even though strictly speaking it is not. However, 0.49 and 0.51 are part of the secondary family and they are close enough.

What I am curious about is if you have run into any patterns involving cross ratios between primary and secondary families. And also whether or not you notice any patterns involving these ratios that may have escaped Scott in his analysis.
