I too wondered how Mr. Flynn came to the conclusion that you were attacking the English. Oh well, maybe not liking Shepherd's pie could be considered racist. <g> Fascinating to me how all of a sudden the board's nemesis suddenly took on volunteer work now that you are here. Call me suspicious, but did he all of a sudden realize that he had met a mind which he could not control? One that could eat him as an appetizer and spit him out for dessert? I read with fascination your views on the producers of value and the destroyers of same. I hadn't looked at it in that way. I was in the camp that said...."Hey...it's a free country...let him post. So what? He gives thoughts to chew on sometimes." The difference is that I never let his posts get to me. So therefore they never destroyed my value. I would read his posts with more of the attitude...oh, ok....that's nice. <pat him on the head> That's a good boy...now go and get something else for dinner. I realized that he was basing things on the past...and I realized that he did not share the vision of what is to come...and if one does not have that capacity for vision....then there is nothing that can be done. So...just read it and move on. What I think caused it to become a turbulent force on this board was that many were not able to ignore it. They let his perception of reality enter their own world...and it made them afraid or angry..and so they attacked....and thus began the war with words. For me, I just sat up here on my own little treetop perch and watched it all with amusement. It is said that we each create our own reality. Perhaps I should've become more indignant with the attacks on Frank....but they were just so off-base in describing the man that they just flowed right by me. They never entered my reality. Anyway, your words on the risk-takers and the destroyers really gave me something to think about....and for that I thank you. Juanita
