Well… Darn. The previous week was a pretty positive report. That didn’t last long.
The NASDAQ composite had it’s worst week in three months, and sure, the Biotech Indices didn’t go down quite so much, but they did go down. I think this week we’ll dispense with discussing individual stocks, some went up, but not spectacularly, a lot more went down, but not so much as to merit any closer look. Maybe its worth noting that the top 5 YTD stocks all but RVNC managed to stay in the black for the week, so the winners continue to win at least a little, even when the rest are not doing so hot..
And the contest portfolios didn’t have a lot to cheer about. Every one was in the red for the week, and the average and median performance lost more than the NASDAQ composite did. Last week I giddily reported that for the first time this year TWO portfolios were in the black YTD, and now, ZERO are.
