It looks like ST has substantially better thread screw dislocations and substantially worse basal plane dislocations than II-VI (Coherent) last year.

I expect Wolfspeed will require a long-term non-cancelable contract if STM wants 200mm wafers. They won't accept being a short-term fix until STM manages to get their own 200mm wafers up to speed.
