Arnie, several items 1) Nextband and 2) Nextel stock action,

1) A month or two ago, you posted against the idea of Nextel, Nextlink, and Teledesic providing coordinated services sometime in the future, as telecommunications continues to converge. Does Nextband (joint venture of Nextel and Nextlink to secure LMDS spectrum) influence that thinking at all?

2) Is the last week or so of stock activity, especially in lieu of the rising market, consistent with your previous TA that Nextel would start a move in late January / early February to test 32, and then 32 will fall like a match stick in a hurricane. I am using your words as reference, because they seemed like a fairly strong statement - and I'm not saying that the recent price action is counter your statement, either. As far as TA, I'm not well versed, but suspect that projections are subject to revision as current data is incorporated.

By the way, I am still very long on Nextel; their story is unfolding better than it was expected to six months ago. Any idea why the recent price drop? Technical or fundamental? When are Q4 earnings due?

Thanks,
Rob
