Based on my calculations, they had true operating income of $1,433,000 in FY97-Q2. They reported operating income of $1,697,000. This included $1,200,000 of gain on termination of the benefit plan, which you need to subtract, and $936,000 of transition/restructuring costs which you need to add. I think that results in $1,433,000 of true operating income.
