LSI is a nice mediocre company, and if I needed somewhere to produce my run-of-the-mill ASIC, I am sure I would consider them. But if I was looking to make a really leading edge design, say a hot new PCS communicator, I would turn to VLSI with their library, their experience, and their design teams.

At one half the relative price to sales, there is no question which stock I would rather buy... Jim
