BC, what really angers me about these left-wing hypocrites is this.

They encourage migrants to get around the law. They dump them in so-called "red states" and look the other way as they start residing in America. They only demand token promises from these migrants to show up to their court hearings.

Most of my colleagues here in Silicon Valley are immigrants. Not all of them are naturalized citizens or even permanent (green card) residents. A lot of them are here on H-1B visas.

Recently my former employer just had a layoff. Some of those who were laid off were H-1B visa holders. They now have to find a new job within five weeks, or else they'll have to pack up and leave. That REALLY sucks, given how they are now a part of the Silicon Valley community, with their children going to local schools, etc.

Meanwhile, one of my current coworkers just moved here from Bangalore, India. He's only here temporarily on some sort of visa that allows him to stay as long as he is employed with our current employer. But our current employer is kind of a fly-by-night startup whose existence might last another year or two. If we go under, he'll be forced to move back to Bangalore.

Bottom line is that we engineers in Silicon Valley have to bend over backwards in order to fulfill the requirements of immigration law.

Yet here we have an entire political party who has a vested interest in having their constituents BREAK the law. They look the other way while the rest of us have to deal with the authorities on a daily basis.

That's no exaggeration.
