Hi Chip! What's the conversion from heating oil futures to the price we actually pay for low sulfur heating oil? I supplement my heat pump with heating oil when our NC temperatures drop into the 30s where the heat pump loses efficiency. I just called my distributor and he quoted $4.33/gal versus $2.75 the last time I filled my 270 gallon tank in May 21. I only use ~100 gal per year and am wondering if I should wait for lower prices but can't make any sense of the futures prices compared to what I actually pay.

Thanks!

Bill

P.S. to Bob: Did you ever replace your Troy-Bilt engine? My Harbor Freight replacement works even better than the original!
