I don’t think so, D. I think Ukraine’s successful counteroffensive in the Kharkov region forced them to admit that it’s impossible to fight a war against a resilient, well trained and resupplied opponent over a - maybe - 1500 mile frontline with an army of 200K people. With US satellites and various drones and whatnot, they can always find a thinly manned spot to attack.

Long story short, they’re changing the degree of commitment - and the rules of engagement. The war will become worse - before it gets better. Also, a lot more dangerous - if the Russians become more assertive against the NATO involvement. Which, imo, they may.
