That column is probably just telling you that it is a marginable stock or it is in a margin account. You can have stocks in a margin account but not be using margin.

Buying on margin refers to borrowing money to purchase stock. Your margin is cash or stock you already have as collateral.

You can't be on margin unless you buy stock on borrowed money.
