The value of all these threads lie in the ideas that are presented, that inspire others to consider buying and selling stocks and other instruments. The only way you are going to get absolute confirmation that a person is actually doing what they say is by them posting the actual trade slips of all the buy/sell orders, which is not very practical and completely unnecessary.

All we have to go by is the words of the OP. I, for one, have benefited greatly by the ideas of other posters on these threads. I have made a lot of money by examining the picks and pans of others on these threads. That is why I post. I post to share my ideas and to be stimulated by others ideas as well.

A few weeks back I shared my thought of selling all my longs and going net short. All you got was my words and what has taken place since. If you choose not to believe me, that's your problem. I give good reasons for my buys and sells, sometimes fundamental and sometimes technical. But above all, I want others to figure it out for themselves.

If I doubted everybody here, I wouldn't be posting here. But honestly, posting on SI has been a very profitable venture for me and that's why I continue to post.

And BTW, if you ever read my gold thread, you would see that I have said countless times that the gold mining ETFs are permanent shorts except for the 6 month period when the Fed transitions from raising rates to lowering rates. If you followed that idea, you would have made a fortune and would have had no need to see proof.
