You should not daytrade when the market is this chaotic. I just don't see proper risk/rewards for individual daytraders here. HFT algos are the only ones that could do well in this kind of environment, and probably the ones that are now dominating the market. We should be making a temporary bottom between today and EOD Monday. I was early shorting the market and I'm probably early closing my short position. But the weekend is coming, it is nice weather, and a ton of yardwork and fall gardening to do. So I'd like my mind to be at peace. Of course if we drop a few hundred points between now and Monday's close (always possible), then I won't be at that much peace. But as my wife reminded me a few minutes ago when I got unhappy for closing too early, I made 25+% on a pretty big position and the weather is nice - so that is that ;)
