Balance sheet for Fed falls 7 billion dollars and the Fed has been buying mortgage-backed securities federalreserve.gov Guess is there will be little or no runoff in mortgage-related securities for a while, maybe late October or November depending on the settlement dates. Another 40 billion dollars or so of Treasuries needs to run off this month, some will shop on next Wednesday's report, but more likely, wont' show up till the first report in October due to September 30 issues.
